Please help with goose breed and possible sex...

I had a bossy female named Big Sissy because she truly was their big sister with a attitude to match her size, but the rest of my hens aren't so much.
I wasn't sure if in fact the bigger, bossy goose was just being their fearless leader (biggest chicken goose I have ever met) or a big pain in their hinders. When they are all together she or he runs the show and when I put them (2 geese from ducks) apart at night they whine for the ducks. WHAT DO YOU WANT?!!

geese and turkeys are not "dumber" than other poultry. They, like parrots, are smarter. Dumber fowl and animals have more instinct. The smarter the organism, the less instinct driven it is. Which means they have to be taught. Geese are smart and want you to solve their distress. That they can get anxiety, shows they are too smart for their britches.

I didn't really mean to say they were "dumb"...most days I think my 18 year old son is pretty dumb to be honest. :D

I am trying to figure out the dynamic of the ducks and geese. And making sure they are all happy in their home.

I would like the geese to solve MY distress by listening like the ducks and happily going into their own hut at night. OR OR ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR being good with the ducks at night and they could all be together. :idunno

They are very different species and I am learning everyday.
