Hi My Name Is Dmitry, I am 13 years old and i am just starting to incubate goose eggs and i have a still air incubator and 8 eggs. I did alot of research and found out about blood rings. I candled my eggs and all are doing really good but one it has a blood ring. i heard that they explode? or it means that my egg is dead and that its just a bacteria. im not sure what to do any suggestions? And also i have my tempereture at 101 degrees(f) people have been posting to keep it at 102 and some have been saying at 99 and 99.5 degrees so what shall i do? do i keep it in between or at a specific temp. i turn my eggs 3-5 times a day every 2-4 hours each.im not sure how old the eggs are but i think they are about 5-12 days old, all eggs are diff age obv. thanks and sorry im not so specific and good at this because i just joined and im just starting to get into these things.

I will soon be hatching out eggs too. I have the incubator and a rooster who is already mating with the hens... the thing is, I do not have a clue on how to incubate eggs! I have a still air incubator from little giant... I have been reading the reviews on it and im still not sure if I want to use it.... I am afraid it will change the temperature on me. I guess I could still use a little help! I will tag along on this and see what people say...

Hi Guys
I have just seen two of my eggs hatch from my Japanese Bantams they are my first to have hatch. They are a very light grey and one is not walking very well yet. Do not give up hopw just keep on watching your eggs. one of my eggs exploded in the incubator so we opened it cleaned it up and put every body back in. I wish foor each of you good luckon your hatches.

thats exactly what i have a little giant still air incubator and so far it hasnt changed temps on me
