Equibling, do you usually get a 100% lemon blue from your eggs, or are they still pretty mixed in coloration? The reason I ask, is that from the eggs I bought from you I got one dark marked chick. No blue. From casa I got what looks like a white/blue splash. I didn't end up with any of the lemon blues. If I breed the two ( one hen one roo) will they breed back to the lemon blue?

I apologize for the delay in getting back with those who have responded. We have had terrible storms here the past few days and I am jsut now back up and running.

I am looking for the Standard LB Cochins, but may consider trying some bantams.

I'd love to see a photo of your chick--I've never had one hatch that is not blue, splash or lemon blue...yes, crossing both of those should get you at least a % of lemon blues. I have a book I'm writing down colors & hatch rates in--so any feedback (especially photos!) would be greatly appreciated!

They do not breed true, yet...since they are still very much in the development stage.
