I'm needing to treat my flock, and just wanted to know what would be the withdrawal period on the eggs for eating/hatching. It says "no meat/milk withdrawal," (it's for cattle) but this may not extend to eggs. Also, has anybody ever lost a hen to Eprinex? Or have them get really sick? I just wanted to know what your experiences have been. Also, how effective is it against worms and lice? When will I need to re-treat them? I've read that the proper dose is a 1/2 cc/ml per chicken, is this correct? Thank you!

That is the dose for standards, bantams are 1/4cc. I have only used it topically, not orally. Going on advise I got on here from someone I very much trust, I continued eating the eggs. If a cow doesn't even have milk withdrawl, I can't imagine that a chicken would have egg withdrawl. None of my chickens have had a problem with it, no even the one I accidentally overdosed several months ago. I use it to deworm 3 or so times a year, and have used it to treat mites. LOVE IT!!
