we have 4 new chicks that are now about 5-6 weeks old we got them from the tractor supply store we were told they were Rhode island reds (2) and (2) brown leg horns. what do you all think and please tell me they are all hens...

All look like pullets to me too. This is going from comb only and the fact none of them 'look' like cockerels.... but I can't explain to you what looking like a cockerel means lol it's an intuitive thing you get from staring at chicks for waaaay too much time.

well this is just our 2nd batch so we are new chicken owners, at the end of April we will of had chickens for a full year. We can not have roosters here and we are only aloud a max of 8 chickens so I needed to be sure before we wake up one morning to a rooster crowing in the back yard :barnie
