I would say it is quite possible it looks like it has stout legs which is one sign

What is up with the stomach feathers? My other chicks don't have missing feathers there.

That's another reason I think it could be a CX they aren't known to be the prettiest things

How will I actually know? It has sharper claws, it pecks at me all the time, not not a normal 2 week old chick. It makes me feel bad, but I don't want it if that's what it is. My kids will cry if it dies from heart failure. What to do?

Either raise it until 8 or 9 weeks of age and give the kids a lesson on where food comes from or find someone near you who has a batch going and give it to them. Where did you get it and are you sure its only 2 weeks old?

You may want to look at easter eggers on my pet chicken website they have pics of the chicks on there, you will notice for one thing the EE usually isn't a yellow chick it will have a mix of colors and generally won't show much comb if any as they are a pea comb breed.

Looks like a Cornish Cross to me--we had one last year look just like that but it was supposed to be a LEGHORN. At about that age it started to be visibly larger and fatter each day. They also tend to have very patchy feathers with patches of pink skin showing through- not pretty. I didn't want to raise a single meaty, so I gave it away free via Craigslist. My kids had no problem with it going since it was so unattractive.

I have EE and that's how I know it's not one of them, but I don't want to get rid of it in case it's not a Cornish.
