Her name is Sparrow she is one of 5
I bought as hatchlings 15 weeks ago

These next 2 were also sold as bantams, they are cockerels and crow in the morning, they do not fight so I will keep them I think
700

And these below are cinnamon queens I think

They are very friendly they like sitting on my knee. I am really looking forward to the first eggs. Well they're my five beauties, I would like 2 more chickens tho' but need to know a lot more before changing a good thing. Can anyone identify the breeds for me? I am very much a novice in chicken keeping but am in love with them already, I really do want to learn.

thankyou very much, you have both confirmed my suspicion re breed of my cockerels, I have never heard of an Olde English Game bantam. (and I am from England) but I am new to chicken keeping I Live and learn. She is a chicken then? I was having my doubts. She gets on well with the bigger birds.

I third what Nikki said.

Your Sparrow is indeed a chicken. My feeling is game birds are a more primitive breed, they have more of a chicken's natural instincts and haven't been messed with so much by breeding for egg production or meat.

Thankyou very much, all three of you. People I have met on 'backyard chickens have been so kind and helpful to this grandmother, now you have identified the breeds of my pets I can sound a bit like I know what I'm talking about when discussing them with friends.
