Please if sum1 can help or hav any answerz or thotz of watz goin on??..ialredy lost one of my 4 duckz..and am devasted! Nobody can figure out wat it is or seem to help me..ihav pekin duckz...it startd out wit my duck muddlez who passed two mnthz ago, who one nite ijus found layn there dead ..she was completely fine until the day b4 inoticed like two brite neon green liquid dropz( lookd like food coloring) on tha ground..n then tha nect day he seemd to be layn around and kinda of outta it..n couple hourz later he was dead..nobody cud tell me y or wat it was..now two mnthz later im seeing brite neon green agen only wit sum white paste poop..and im freaking out cuz idnt wana loose them ..ionly hav 3😭 ..ilive in the city so most vetz dont noe anythang about pekin duckz..and idont hav money to go either..but igot lucky n was talkn to an old school vet and iused apple cidar vinegar n black strap molasses a different day..n it seemd to help..hut its happening agen...and if anyone noes what it cud be or expierenced sumthang like thiz please help...my first and only waterfowl ive had for two yearz now and there my babiez 😢
 
I’m sorry about your loss. Almost sounds like they could be getting into a toxin of some kind. Any thing change where you keep them? What are you feeding and have you checked for mold in their feed? Any stagnant water?
 
Yes ijus found mold this morning..bbut its a small amount n its on part of the top of their house outside....n ive doing research lately about stagnant water cuz thats wat iwas thinkn...ihav a kiddie pool..but it kept freezen on me solid. Or partly so iwasntt able 2dump it everyday like iwas doing..ilive 20minutes frum boston so it getz freezen out...and to add to add to the situation my area is infested wit Giant ratz cuz they tore down a abandoned building..ive ratd proofed it wen it was built..but they recently must b getn in at nite cuz i discoverd dropings..but becuz of temperaturez, i bring my 3duckz in my house at nite and put them in a pen so iwasnt worried about tha ratz..but im wondering if they cud of gotn them sick too..but nobody ive talkd too has expierienced brite green fluid or white pastey green poop. 😔
 
:hugs I hope @casportpony is on because she is the best on poop and what it can mean. But does sound like toxin or infection. Rats do carry disease and if there is feed that they can get into and pee or poop in that could be a serious problem. Can you get some poop pics? That will help alot
 
Thnku..iappreciate any help..but ikeep there bags pf food in my house..im constantly changen there food..so istartd giving them a lil n changen twice wile there outside jus incase..but ihavnt seen rats in there wile they r outside..ithink they r goin in at nite after ibring my dycks in..im thinkn mayb stagnant water
