Plucked feathers on back? Do I need saddles?

My two roosters favorite hens are plucked on the back, one is completely missing feathers in a strip across her back. I'm getting rid of one of the roosters, do I also need aprons? Do they need some kind of salve for their skin? Do I need to use something on their skin that would be unpleasant to the remaining rooster? My poor girls are looking rough.

Getting rid of one rooster will help. But I'd still buy a few chicken saddles to keep her safe until her feathers start to regrow. You don't want her skin to get punctured, because then she will be in for real problems... They are sold on the "everything else" auction site here on BYC.
