Plucking feathers?

Has anyone did this to their homers? How would I correctly do this. Is it easy. Does it hurt the bird? How long does it take for them to grow back?

Yes. Cut them and allow them to dry for 2 weeks before plucking. The feathers will be dried out and won't hurt the bird.
