Plymouth rocks or orpingtons?

You guys are the worst enablers (or is that the best enablers); anyway, Ill keep them both. And probably get more.....because you never have enough, right?

I think my Barred Rocks are slightly better layers, but my Buff Orps lay slightly larger eggs, at least one of them does. Although, Lexie lays a very large, very dark egg for a smaller BR hen as people who have received her eggs can attest. She laid through almost her entire molt and refused to quit. I think you should have the best of both worlds! Wait, didn't I send you some of Lexie's eggs?

Rocks are better layers but orpringtons look better in my opinion.

Its been 3 days and 18 hours since I set your eggs. Im going to be really nervous about that first candling....I so want these to work. Im not sure when Im going to candle them for the first time. I want to be sure when I do.
