Who else is attending, as a spectator or exhibitor? Anyone looking to buy or sell anything in particular?

I will be exhibiting for the first time, with the goal of experience rather than winning as my best birds are either in breeder pens or won't be filled out fully until the fall shows. I will be bringing some birds that I don't intend to take home, and hope to bring some stuff to donate for auction/raffle.

Ooh, ooh, me, me!! I'll be there!! My son is showing his new bantam cochin pullet, and I am bringing a few of my bantam Ameraucanas...one of them went broody about a week ago, so she isn't coming

I bought a sale cage, but I don't know what I'm putting in it yet!! LOL

I'm planning on being there, but can only stay a half day on Saturday (we've got company arriving from Minnesota in the late afternoon). I've never been to anything other than the county fairs before. I'm assuming there is an exhibitor building(s) and scheduled show times? Am hoping to get a sense of how things work in case I get up courage to participate in shows in the future.

p.s. - how will us BYCrs know each other?

Coop-in is Friday night, not much goes on then - just lots of squawking and crowing and commotion...Judging is Saturday morning, and the kids' showmanship classes are then also...judging takes a LOOOOOOONG time...especially when there isn't much going on. There is a PNPA member meeting Saturday evening, and awards are done Sunday morning before coop-out.

I think that we should plan a meet up time for BYCers...there's an area with bleachers over by the water that would work good for that...of course if it's raining...we could all just meet at the Ameraucana Breeders Club table and hang out with Jean!!

Oh, and there are 2 buildings, one is for the youth birds (also where the showmanship takes place) and standards and waterfowl. The other building (where the heat is, hint hint) is for open class bantams, and that is where the secretary's table, champion row, raffle, snack area and tables are all located.

When will everyone be there? We could meet at the table like you said Cloverleaf. We should determine a time or something.......

I'll be there all day, so whenever you all who are coming and going decide is fine with me (as long as it's not early - my son's doing showmanship)
