It''s a bit young because Polish can be sneaky, but for now it is not showing any male signs (wattles growing and spiky crest). That crest is still growing but looks like it will be full and roundish to me so most likely a pullet.
Just this one, and its not a breed I'm familiar with. I've got it quarantined right now with one of my BCM cockerel culls that's just a bit smaller so she/he's not lonely.
Thanks, everyone. Yorkshire, I will definitely check out all those links! My plan was to keep her with my Cemani since they are smaller than my meat birds and will be kept seperate. I have a fairly small flock, though, and my meat birds have had youngsters and much smaller hens in with them previously (and currently) with 0 problems.
I bought "her" from a friend, so I am considering going over to her house and pick out one more from the same group she was in...one that looks different, so that I hopefully at least get one hen.
