polish bantams how soon can you tell? **pics added*

How soon can you tell if a polish banty is a roo or hen? They don't have combs. Mine are 3 or 4 weeks old and have all their feathers and no sign of a wattle. But my Bantam cochin has a bright red wattle and his comb is getting bigger everyday, no doubt he is a roo.

I am wondering the same thing. And does feathers on the legs indicate anything in particular? Although mine aren't bantams that I know of. Black white crested and laced silver polish birds. The silver laced are the ones with the feathers on their legs.

this is just a guess but I say merry - male

pippin- female

but really I am kinda guessing

I'm agreeing with MNmommy. I think Merry is a roo and Pippin is a pullet.

A good frontal shot of Merry would help, I think.
