polish..boys or girls? what do you think?

this one is supposed to be gold laced but not lacing very well and has an all black crest, my thought is pullet but what do you guys think?

this is a buff lace once again from Ideal so the lacing is no going very well this one has me guessing! pullet or roo?

May I ask, how old are they?

If they are one year old or over, then I say hen. If they are under that age, you could (possibly) have a rooster.

I am pretty sure the top one is a roo and the bottom one is a hen.

Look at the ends of the crest feathers..... roos develope pointy ones, like their hackle feathers are, and they are spiky all over the place. Hens grow softly curving ones, which form more of a ball on the top of the head.

ive got 3 polishes so ive been doing my research lol. Anyway from what i read roos have messed up hair do pullets are neat and slicked back like. So id say the first is a roo the second a pullet

they are about 6 wks old...I see what yo are saying about the pointy feathers! I just wasn't sure as there is no sign of a comb....aren't they supposed to have a "v" comb?

The comb will continue to develop. You have a roo and a pullet. You can tell by the feathers before the comb, in my limited experience.
