My three polish chicks are almost 6 weeks old and one already has red wattles so I am assuming that it is a rooster, but my other blue one I am not sure about. It has a much smaller comb area than the other one. The chick with the red wattles is also lighter than the other chick. Is the darker chick still blue?
Lighter chick:

I would wait a bit longer. Polish chicks without beards will get wattles it doesn't necessarily mean they are roosters. Blue comes in blue and splash so there can be different shades of blue.

Watch for the comb to turn red in the next few weeks which would mean rooster.

Where did you get them? The lighter appears to be whute crested khaki.
The darker is a white crested blue and appears to be male.
You should get white crested dun and white crested platinum from this crossing, if that is is truly khaki.

I got them from TSC. When I say the lighter one, I am talking about the one of the right of the perch, so I don't think you are correct about it being khaki.

Oh. I see. That would be white crested blue. I am out of it today. I thought it was the same chick as the darker chick.
The comb redness says cockerel, however, I'm hoping the otherwise.
I still think the one on the left is khaki, however, where you got the chicks would say otherwise.
