Polish egg size?

I have a Houdan hen.
The breed is similar in appearance to Polish - hens having a rounded crest.

She lays a white egg, not as large as my Black Stars (sexlinked production breed) - I'd say a medium-sized egg.

ETA: she is a large breed, but not nearly as heavy as my Delawares or Black Stars.

Polish do come in Large Fowl. . . Don't see why someone would think otherwise

Most hatchery Polish are indeed small and skinny, but the breed in general should actually be decent sized and have a prolific, round breast.

Their egg size is medium.

I hatched a polish egg last 10 days ago and the egg was small-medium and white, kid of pointy like the previous person said.

I must say, not really liking Polish chicks and getting a surprise one...they have to be the CUTEST chicks I have ever seen! We named ours "Poofy".

When i was searching for local breeders all the ads state polish bantams

Ah, well, then that's because there's indeed a lot of bantam breeders.

If a breed only comes in bantam, people won't actually mention the word bantam. D'Uccles, D'Anvers, Silkies, and a couple others are rarely ever actually advertised as "bantam D'Uccles" and the sort.
