Polish Hair Cut

My White Polish, Jadwiga, has a magnificent crest. She is only 7 weeks old and is as regal as her namesake. But I don’t think she can see very well at all! She calls out in loneliness for her brood mates when they are literally right next to her; she just didn’t see them!!

What can I do to help her out? Should I trim her feathers…? Not sure how to do that. Any advice appreciated!

You can go ahead and trim the crest. It will grow back. I've been trimming mine for a few months now. Not sure if it totally helps. Polish in general are odd birds.

Odd is a good word for her… she’s a wacky bird for sure!
