Polish Mixes????

Should polish mixes have the polish floof?? Should they have polish qualities?? should they have more qualities like there dad a polish or there mom lavender orpington??? Or........ Help please This is her

It looks like neither breed to me, do you own the parents or where did you get her? She's pretty.

Her mom was Lavender Orpington because she and a Buff Orpington were the only hens i had at the time

That is not a Polish mix.

I had 2 lavender Orp hens. 1 Buff Orp. 1 Silver Laced Polish Roo. 1 Silver Laced Wyndotte Roo

The crest gene is semi dominant. Not all offspring will inherit the crest.

Here's a Silkie cross as an example. Notice she has a single comb, instead of walnut, comb, or rose comb? I get rose combs thrown out occasionally. Also note she has no Crest, but has black skin, feathered feet, & 5 toes?

She has a thick body. I'm suspecting the Wyandotte was the father. Polish have slimmer bodies, & that usually shows abit. But who knows the answer 100%, since it's hard to be sure what the actual parents are.
