Polish not laying eggs at all in winter

Hi Guys!

Pez, my cutiepie White Crested black Polish, started laying her first eggs a few weeks before winter set in.

She was pretty erratic, which we expected, but gave us a few really cute little white eggs.

Well, it’s been over a month or so now since we’ve seen anything from her.

We are in Maryland and although it’s been a fairly mild winter, it’s been really grey, gloomy and rainy.

Is it worrisome for 10 month old polish to completely cease laying eggs in the winter?

She is eating, drinking, happy (and sweet) as can be.

Totally normal. She will once the days get longer.

My 2 polish, 8 months old, has only laid 2 eggs total. Not sure if by one chicken or 1 egg from each chicken.. not sure what is going on.. I assume they would stop in Nov, Dec and Jan however they never laid in sept or October either

Pretty sure I read Polish are more ornamental than known for their egg laying capabilities, so I am not going to expect a whole lot out of the buff polish I have when she comes of age. (Also she’s a wild spaz that won’t even eat from my hand anymore )

Yes I’ve heard that also, just thought more than 2 eggs one of mine is that way also spaz, jumps and runs etc lol
