Polish pullet or cockerel? 5 weeks old

Hi! This is my Gold Laced Polish chick. It's 5 and a half weeks old. Does it look like a pullet or a cockerel so far?

Give it some more time so you can see how the crest turns out in a couple weeks, but the wattles are nonexistent at this point so currently I would guess pullet. But could still be male and just not showing it yet.

That definitely looks like a male to me! It's crest feathers are way too pointy for a female.

but the wattles are nonexistent at this point so currently I would guess pullet.

It's bearded so wattles will stay very very small.

Update: 16 weeks old. I kept thinking boy the whole time, but today I was looking at its feather pattern and was thinking, hmm ?
