Breeding do you have to breed buff to buff and silverlaced to silverlaced etc??

If you don't breed color to color, you'll get mixed colors not accepted in the standard. If you're working towards creating a new color, or continuing a color (Tolbunt for example) you might need to use colors other than that same color. Then of course you have a lot of work ahead, in picking your keepers and the "culls"... In order to get to the color you want, and have it breed true.
