Polish silkie cross sex link?

I have three silkie hens and three polish chicks right now and I believe that i have two cockerels and one pullet. I was wandering if I kept the rooster and hatched out some of the polish x silkie cross eggs if the chicks would be sex linked with dark or light skin?

I just read that the silkie has to be the rooster for them to be sex lined. So crossing my polish rooster with my silkie hens wouldn't be sex linked, right?

I am an amateur chicken keeper, I picked up some silkie polish cross. two hens and a cock. i have chicks now at 8 weeks. I have done a little bit of reading on sex-link but, not enough to fully understand that the colour of my chick determines the sex.
