Polish with wattles at 5 weeks

Is that a bad sign? I need to get new pics, but he/she already has visible hanging wattles at 5 weeks old.

My polish hen has big wattles but i've heard that it depends on the type of polish... if the poof on it's head stays neat and "tight" then it's probably a pullet but if it gets "messy" it's probably a roo... i'd wait a few weeks and pics would definetly help determind... for the most part I think it's too early to tell... do you have other polishes the same age that you could compare with? She seems to have a girly poof on her head to me....I will have to get new pics, I think the only ones I have are at least a week or two old (and at this age, they seem to change daily).

Not only do I not have any other polish the same age, I don't have any at all, nor have I ever.....so I have no clue!

I believe it is a gold laced....really cute little dude (dudette?).

My Polish girls are 10 weeks old and still don't have them.

Sometimes the poof will look like a hen's but the wattles will say it all, this early.
