Polite time to call Ads

There is a posting on CL that was posted at like 3:45 AM this morn. I want to make a call about it (He left his #) but what time is a polite time to call?

Anytime after 8am unless the ad says otherwise.

IMHO if they want rid of it, they won't mind the early phone call

and if they are like me they are WIDE awake...

But Im guessing they didnt go to bed till 4AM

I have a nine o'clock rule. I don't call people before 9am or after 9pm unless I know for sure it's ok with them.

Yeah..i think 9 is a safe time for most people...

I never ended up calling. I waited till 9 and I was wondering if it was still too early then 9:30 then 10 then I had to get in the shower and leave for the day
