Hi - I just bought a small packet (100g) of the “poly-tonine a complex” vitamin mix from vetoquinol. It says to add the entire pouch to 225L of water and give daily for 4-6 days.
We only have 5 hens and 2 chicks. I’m trying to figure out my mixing portions and truly how often I give this to them.
Can anyone help? Has anyone else used this for their small flock before?
We just lost a hen a couple weeks ago and I believe it was Vit.K deficiency as she lost her sight in the process. Also, one of our other hens now has bumblefoot that I have to deal with, and this can be caused from vitamin deficiency...that’s why I bought this. They free range during the day, so they’re getting sun and greens. They are on a 3 grain blend with added 1/3 black oil sunflower seeds, added oyster shells, and crushed/baked egg shells. Not sure what else I can do.
