Hi there

I have a 16 week old silkie x Ancona and she has been doing odd poos

She is mostly fine and active but some times she is sitting hunched up.

Poos:

Some of them are like the top one, most of them are like the middle one , and only very few are like the bottom one

Here are a few pics of her

Active and fine:

She is in quarantine at the minute as only got yesterday

What could be wrong with her?

It *could* be coccidiosis. Can you get some Corid liquid or powder? Can you bring her into a warm room?

FDA recommendations:
http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/animaldrugsatfda/details.cfm?dn=013-149
"Chickens
Indications: For the treatment of coccidiosis.
Amount: Administer at the 0.012 percent level in drinking water as soon as coccidiosis is diagnosed and continue for 3 to 5 days (in severe outbreaks, give amprolium at the 0.024 percent level); continue with 0.006 percent amprolium-medicated water for an additional 1 to 2 weeks."

Below are the per gallon doses for Corid and Amprol:

The 0.006% for Corid Powder is 1/3 teaspoon.
The 0.006% for Corid liquid is 1/2 teaspoon.

The moderate outbreak dose (0.012%) for Corid Powder is 3/4 teaspoon.
The moderate outbreak dose (0.012%) for Corid liquid is 1 teaspoon.

The severe outbreak dose (0.024%) for Corid Powder is 1.5 teaspoons.
The severe outbreak dose (0.024%) for Corid liquid is 2 teaspoon.

Ok will it hurt if I get corid powder and it isn't cocci? Do I need to treat the other chicken in the quarantine? Can it Stay outside? As it is quite lively and wouldn't like to be cooped up as like to rummage around in the leaves. Where can I get corid powder I'm in uk?

Don't think you can get Corid (amprolium)in the UK as easily as we can in the US, but you can get something called Harkers Coxoid (3.84% amprolium) and maybe Baycox.
