I have a 6 day old chick who just seems to always have poo on her belly. I am assuming that her own poo is runny and it's just dripping out, but she also won't lay down like all of the others. If I've seen the poo stuck to her bum, I've used a warm water compress to gently get it off, but it just seems to build right back up again. Any advice? Thanks.

is the poo runny and does it have any red in it? Look at the other chick a gage the size of there bellies compare it to the chick with the poo issue

Yes, she's on chick starter. But as I sit here and watch her, she keeps lifting up her wings and maybe she's trying to poop ... oh no. That doesn't seem good. She stands against the bar on the chick feeder trough thing and uses it to hold herself up. I know the others flap a little when they poo so maybe that's what she's doing?

I just want to help her!

I have also read on here that putting ACV in the water will help with the pasty butt!

They have plenty of water and all the rest of them, save one, are in great shape. I am worried that she's blocked, but if I do anything for that, what if I am wrong and she's got runny poo? I mean, the poo on her belly must be coming from somewhere. Maybe I should do a quick video and post it or pictures.

Her sweet down is all crusty and maybe it hurts her?
