I recently bought 5 crested mix breed ducks. A mix of mallard, harliquin, and Khaki Cambells. I was counting my ten total ducklings and realized one was missing a poof ball on his head. My kids terms not mine. Anyway I picked him/her up and looked at the head. The skin is not broken and he is peeping to beat the band and eating like a champ. Will this grow back? Poor little thing has a bald head now. Im not sure how he/she lost it they are only with each other right now.
