Mine is similar to what jetdog posted but without the the nest boxes underneath. I "LOVE" having the poop boards under my roosts, just a few minutes with a litter scoop a couple times a week and so much of the poop is removed from the coop. Cuts down on smell/moisture immensely. As an added plus my 6"-8" of pine chip bedding has been been in place since last June and still looks/smells almost new, can probably get another year out of it at this rate.
Just think about a 2"-3" deep box that is large enough to catch poop from the roost and you're good to go. I made mine removable, so in the future I can take them out and give them a good cleaning if needed. I also painted the @#$% out of them with leftover latex before putting them to use to help with future cleaning. I fill mine with sweet PDZ and it works great for me as a clumping litter.
