Poop deck width

The coop walls are up and we are ready to build the roosts and poop deck. I can't seem to find how wide the average deck is though. Is 2 feet enough? Should we go wider? Any thoughs are appreciated

About 12" either side of the roost should work OK. That will get practically all of it.
