So my hen has been feeling down for the passed few days.
She started out pooping some green poop with white in it. Then that went to regular poop again.
Then she started pooping a liquid. Its like a yellowish clearish mucusy slimy poop. That was one day, then the next day that was regular poop. Then the next day it was that clearish liquid poop again. And now there is green poop.
What does that mean? She isn't eating regularly and she's in the "hospital ward" right now. She's been getting save a chick in her water, layer mash with some oyster shells, some pear baby food with calcium tabs, vitamin d and antibiotics. I don't know what else to do.
What is internal laying? She is 2 years old, a jersey giant. I don't know what their laying and life cycles look like, but I feel like she should live longer than this and she should lay longer than this. She just brooded a dozen chicks and did a great job, is that her last hoorah?
