Poop=Worms???

I just heard that poop on eggs mean the hens have worms. True or False? (If it is true all my chickens for the last 14 yrs have had worms! Hahaha!)

Uh...false. My eggs are usually clean, but when they are dirty it is because the chickens legs/feet are dirty.

There's a lady on youtube who claims that and it's false. The only way to really know if a chicken has worms is by examining a stool sample.

I have one hen who consistently poops on her egg, and she lays the prettiest eggs! I hate to wash them cause the speckling washes off. But have to cause of the poop.

Other than that, yeah, occasionally hens poop on eggs. it just happens.

Sounds like someone's trying to sell wormer, to me!
