POOP!!!!

My chickens poop right now looks like watered down milk and I cannot figure out why! Another one of the hens in with them prolapsed yesterday. Could it just be a calcium deficiency because that can cause hens to prolapse too?

Can you post pictures of droppings and the prolapse? Are all hens having these and no normal droppings? What do you feed them?

There are normal droppings too. They are getting purina layer crumbles.

I think we have a start to helping her get through with the prolapse. But if they have something wrong with their poop, should we keep selling the eggs?

I am also helping on your other thread with the prolapse, but can you call your vet in the morning, and ask about bringing in some fresh droppings to look for worms and coccidiosis? What are you feeding? Are they drinking a lot of water. Is it hot or cold where you live? Probiotics twice a week added to food can be helpful.

Are any chickens acting lethargic, sick, or not eating/drinking? Do you think they are stressed or overcrowded? The bloody vent looks like cannibalism. That can happen when they see a red prolapsed vent, but if there is no prolapse, that can be a serious problem of cannibalism.

Okay! Thank you! They are all acting fine. It is cold where I live right now with a few warm days here and there.
