My mini dacshund eats the chicken poo when they are out free roaming in the yard.........What should i worry about as it is hard to pick up after the birds and this is a family project so I would prefer NOT to have to keep the dog in the house when the girls are out!!!!!

Buy a goose, the dog will think treats have rained from the heavens.

Seriously though, at this point my schnauzer is probably eating poop in an amount equal to her actual dog food. It's gross to me, but hasn't killed her yet.

Hmmm, can you send your dog over to my yard today?

Well your dog IS part of the family, and this IS a family project. He's just trying to do his part

My female dog has been known to end up nose-to-fuzzy butt with my birds she follows them so closely sometimes, waiting for the chicken looking Pez dispensers to shoot her out a treat

I've seen no ill effects in either of my dogs.

Elmo...I have a chicken poop eating great dane. If you pay by the job and not the hour (cause he works quick), I'll send him over...hehee.

LOLOLOL Lets face it dogs can be nasty little animals. Lets face it...... I think a cat would find that Behavior beneith them.
I have four chicken poo eaters myself and it is unfortunatley normal. And, you do need to watch for cocideosis and other deseases but I do not think your going to get your dog to quit. And you certainly can not clean it ALL up. Just take good care of your dog and watch for any change in them. You will also want to watch for changes in their stool.
