My method of cleaning under the roost works fine in moderate weather, but when it's cold, it won't. Right now I'm changing a sheet of plastic daily, hosing it off and hanging it to dry and placing another under the roost. I like the henhouse to smell good, and it needs to be cleaned daily to achieve this goal. I'm thinking of some kind of table paper work the winter months. I'm open to all suggestions!

A droppings board work great. I especially like them covered in linoleum. Quick and easy to scrape off the poo each morning. I use a very large putty knife (stainless steel) and it takes only a minute. Washing the linoleum is only done with weekly cleaning chores. Good luck!
