Pooping right after laying

My 1 year old Cochin Hen has just started pooping a large poop right after laying an egg. We have two cochins and the other one doesn't do it and this one didn't do it until a few days ago. The poops are generally large and I've watched her on the nest so I know it's immediately after (perhaps before in some cases) she lays her egg. She's been laying for months but this behaviour is new. Anyone know of a reason why she might be doing this? or maybe how to stop it?

I had a flock last year (since given to relatives) and had a hen do this. No other related issues with her (she is a carrier for some respiratory stuff, hence why this flock is no longer with me once I relocated - starting new and all). I don't know that there is a 'reason' for them doing it. Maybe just an effect of laboring through the laying? Maybe something spiteful they conjure up for the people coming to take their eggs?
