Poopy butt

Is there anything to worry about? 2-3 week old. Washed off old poop, BUTT looks swollen. Someone, please educate me. Lol

It may be swollen from being constipated a little, which may have caused the issue of poopy butt.

Keep it in on paper towels or puppy pads, something like that so you can see if it poops and what they look like.

I just had a week old chick like that, standing apart from the rest just standing there. Butt was wet, so did the same thing...rinsed it off and blowed dried it. Then mixed Poultry Cell/probiotic water with a little olive oil (I didn't have coconut oil). I used an eye dropper to drip it on the side of her beak and she drank some.

Then I mixed some of that with their chick crumbles and she ate that. It took about an hour and she pooped four times, rather hard ones. Then suddenly she got spunky again so put her back with mom.

Her stools were very solid vs the others being more moist. I'll try prebiotic tomorrow morning
