Poor eyesight?

This may be a dumb question but can chickens have poor eyesight? My favorite bird Bessy seems to consistently miss what she’s trying to peck. It’s really not an issue I’m just curious if anyone has had this experience before?

Chickens have better eyesight than us, just not at night.

Yes, they can.
I had a bird go partially blind due to heat stroke.
I determined this by holding her and slowly bringing my hand in from the back of her head into her range of normal vision one side at a time. She was blind in one eye.
