Hey y’all,
So I have a hen that decided to hop the fence into my neighbors yard yesterday.
My neighbor’s pup got ahold of her.
I don’t see any wounds surprisingly enough.
We brought her in to relax yesterday and set her in the bathroom in the dark…
After a few hours I took her back out:

Come Time to close the coop she wasn’t in there, she was laying under their plank… I placed her in the coop.
This morning she exited the coop, moving rather slow. She proceeded to poop and I thought it looked really weird, so I snapped a picture (added below) .
I’m assuming she’s probably hurt and stressed but should be okay, I just figured id ask y’all if this is normal given the situation or something more serious. Thank you!

Does she normally lay eggs? The dropping looks like there may be some egg yolk products inside. A little blood as well. I would give her some time in a wire dog crate with bedding, food and water near her. Keep her close to her flock if possible for company. She may be in shock or have internal injuries. Time will tell. Just offer water, scrambled egg, and moistened chicken feed often. Have you examined for any wounds or punctures, or green bruised skin? I have had the same thing happen to pullets who jumped up and onto a chainlink fence then over into my yard with my dog. We lost one out of the 3 that did this. I had to use electric poultry netting where the chickens cannot jump up on it and over. That worked well for many years, and I turned off the power. Let us know how she gets along.
