Thank you! I was pretty confident in my diagnosis, but felt I should check because I thought I read they don't molt the first year typically.Same with my Chipotle, who looks pathetically small being half-naked.

Geez, as if the month of being a broody witch wasn't enough! Poor thing. I made them some black beans in the slow cooker today to give as a treat the next few days. I am guessing it will get worse before better. Anything I should know other than high protein treats?Good thought.
Most don't molt their first year, but broodiness often triggers a molt so it's not too unusual in that situation.![]()
