IMO, would not be enough thermal mass to make any difference.

Yeah, a few beer bottles (even a *stack* of beer bottles*) is not enough to make a meaningful difference, plus you don't want it near the window unless you are going to cover the window with something insulating at night which virtually nobody does.

Also you prolly don't want to use something glass full of something poisonous, when it might break (freezing or other cause) around animals
