We set the time to open at 6:00 am, and to shut at 10:00 pm, but it's not doing it on these times. It's like it's doing it on 24 hour time. What did I do wrong and do I need a special timer? It's puzzling my daughter and I. Can someone tell me what we are doing wrong? We set the timer fr am and pm, but end up over riding it as they do ot open or close on these times, in fact unless we unplug and plug back in it does not work on the timer. Help

First of all, whats the brand? Where's you get it? Is it solar or not? What does the timer look like? Pictures would be great!

It wouldn't happen to be on military time would it? lol Just kidding!

One idea is to check to make sure that the pins or clips that are used to trip the timer are set properly. Some timers have special clips to turn on and other to turn off. If they are mixed up your get unusual results. Make sure the pins are in or out as needed. Of course, check to make sure that the clock on the timer is set, too.

Ok, it's a Fleming door, http://www.flemingoutdoors.com/automatic-chicken-coop-door.html

I just can not figure out the timer. We know how to use a timer, but can not figure out the one that came with it, as it does not open and close by the set times, not sure I understand at all how to set the one that came with it, . It says one pin for half hour 2 pins for hour . I know I sound pretty stupid but it's not working to shut the door or open it. The door works fine, we unplug it and plug it back in it goes up, do it again it closes, just not on the timer. I'm sure I'm not setting these pis right, anyone else got this door and time?

Ok, the timer is just weird, it's a woods 59200ev timer and the time goes backwards.
Instead of a regular clock, or from 12am 1am 2am etc. then after 5 am it says 7::00pm !
