Porous egg shell ?

I am currently incubating 6 wyandotte bantam eggs. all of these eggs have really blotchy shells, like they are different thickness in different places as if it's too porous. This uneven-ness is really apparent when candling. It's really hard to describe, I hope you understand

has anybody had eggs like this before? did they hatch ok?

I think your trying to say some areas you can see through, others you cant because it appears thicker in some areas???...my eggs all do this, and its normal.

some people will cover the lower half of the egg in wax to help keep it from dehydrating to fast.
