Portable electric fence chargers

I am looking for a good portable electric fence charger for the moveable electric poultry netting. I have a portable solar charger, but I have serious doubts that it is putting out enough charge at night time because the time between pulses seems to legthen by quite a bit after dark. It is not the only thing protecting my chickens, but I would like it to have some punch to try and discourage predators during the night. Thanks for any advice.

We bought one at Tractor Supply that can be hooked to a battery. We use a car battery for it and use it as a portable corral when we go camping with the horses.
