What a shame. I bought 5 straight run chicks of all different breeds. They are all cockerels! I think i got tricked into buying after sexing

Many hatcheries will throw sexed males back into the bin with legitimately unsexed chicks, resulting in groups of "straight run" chicks who are 75% or more males. It's really best to purchase sexed chicks whenever you can since you are so likely to get burned on straight run chicks unless they are from a backyard breeder.
