Possible eye pecked

My girl came down with a sore eye today. I think someone pecked her. It’s now fully closed and swelled up. I put hen healer ointment on it. Just around the outside. I was wondering if I could put something in her eye, or closer to her eye. Like triple antibiotic ointment.

General care for this would be to rinse the eye with saline, remove any pus or debris, then apply an eye ointment like Terramycin in the eye or you could use triple antibiotic ointment in the eye.

It may be from a peck, keep close watch to see if she develops bubbles in the eyes or other symptoms that would indicate respiratory illness.

Keep us posted on how she's doing.

Glad she's improving.
With the new photo I can see her ear looks a little swollen too? You may want to look inside her ear for infection - just in case.
