possible growths on OEGB legs feet

not sure what to call it? growths, scale, weired looking (growths) on their legs and feet. is this normal? help.they dont seem to cause any problems. i'm new to this breed. had other breeds before with no problems. two pair have them, another cock and his two hens dont. thanks for any info.

Can you get pictures? Sounds like it could be scaly leg mites from your description, but a picture would be better at figuring out what it is. If it is scaly leg mites, you will need to treat all of the birds they have been kept with, not just the ones that are showing symptoms.

No cure since it's a virus. It'll have to run its course and go away on its own. Your birds will be fine in a month or so. They will be immune to that particular strain thereafter.
