Possible skin disorders

Hi BYC, I have noticed black spots on the cock's comb of some of my chickens. I am not sure what to do. In the mean time I will just research.

Can be just blood and/or scabs... or fowl pox. Without pics it's hard to say.

Here's some pictures of fowl pox and here's a thread that shows dried blood on the comb.
