Possible solution for quarantining new chickens, will it works?

My flock of 12 week old chickens has produced to many roos, so I want to add some new birss. I do not have a place to quarantine new birds, but I have friends who have a daughter interested in getting chickens. I was thinking of building a small temp coop maybe even using an old doghouse, and let them do the day to day care. That was they are seperated from my girls, and they get the experience. sort of a foster care arrangement for a month.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea, BUT. They may not want to give them back after a month!

Help them build a nice coop, and get twice as many birds as YOU need, so they get to keep half for doing all the work
